Simon is Head of eBusiness & CRM for Heathrow, Europe’s busiest airport and home to some of the world’s most successful retail space with annual net sales of £1.7 billion. He is an acknowledged digital and loyalty marketer, conference speaker, consultant. He was recognised by DataIQ Magazine in 2016 as one of the Big Data 100, profiling the most influential people in data driven business. Simon is the creator of Heathrow’s Single Customer View and owner of omni-channel marketing. 2016 has seen him complete the implementation of the Adobe Marketing Cloud and Heathrow recognised as a thought leader in this space. Having launched Heathrow Rewards in 2013, it has grown to become the world's largest airport loyalty programme with 2 million members and an average spend triple that of non-member buyers. He is also responsible for delivering Heathrow’s digital strategy, improving passenger experience and driving online and in-terminal commercial revenue with new digital capability such as Reserve & Collect, indoor navigation, location-based marketing and phygital stores. Prior to Heathrow, Simon led a number of Digital Transformation consulting projects with Capgemini Consulting for blue-chip retail, media and travel businesses following UK and US marketing positions with British Airways and TUI.
